Pump Life Test

Arcelik water factory are manufacturing pumps for dishwashers and washing machines, and for these pumps they would like to build a Life Time Test System. The System should be able to test simultaneously and independently 10 pumps.

This test system should take for each pump approximately 3 to 4 months, while it is running 24×7. The basic idea of the test system is based on cycles, each cycle is by sole programmable, but the ideal cycle is about pumping Hot Water for 50 minutes, then pumping Cold Water for 10 minutes, then starting one more cycle.

Technology Integration developed the system utilizing NI’s LabVIEW development environment and needed toolkits such as LV Real-Time, LV FPGA, LV DSC and Report Generation Toolkit.

Technology Integration was able to build a system that test up to 10 pumps simultaneously; each unit under test has had its own test configuration, all the acquired data was monitored at an update rate of 10 seconds per channel.
