Technology Integration was one of the first companies to offer locally developed system based on imaging technology. Back in 1999, Technology Integration developed an inspection system for International Corporation for Optics and Hearing.
The system would detect scratches and buffs on prescription lenses after the machining of the first surface of the lens. Accordingly the lens is returned for further surfacing, or is moved to final machining of the inner surface. ICOH realized a %25 saving in waste resulting from “faulty” lenses being moved to final stages.
When Modern Industrial Co. / Procter & Gamble KSA, needed to double the speed on their filling machine, they needed to integrate the fastest possible solution for inspecting and correcting the orientation of the bottles before filling.
The developed system would feed the bottling machine instructions on the orientation of the bottle prior to filling. Total inspection per unit was in the mil second.
A complete change from our regular application, in 2006 Technology Integration was contracted to develop an image based grading system, to replace a weight grading system.
Developed on a real-time imaging embedded system, Technology Integration was able to deliver a system capable of grading up to five units per second.
